John G. Haubenreich practices in the areas of corporate and business litigation, general civil litigation, personal injury, and corporate law. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the DeKalb Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia. John is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, and a member of the ABA’s Center for Professional Responsibility.
John serves on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and was elected President of the Lawyers Club in 2002, after serving on its Executive Committee from 1997. In addition, John is a member of the Old War Horse Lawyers Club. In 2002, John was appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia to the State Disciplinary Board, and in 2005 was elected Chair of the State Disciplinary Board.
John graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with highest honors in 1973, and received his law degree from Emory University in 1976. John has tried to verdict many cases in the superior and state courts of Georgia, and in federal district courts. He is a member of the bars of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
