The firm of Seacrest, Karesh, Tate & Bicknese, LLP dates to the early 1960s, when it was known as Barwick, Branch & Bentley and was based in downtown Atlanta. In 1992, the firm moved to the North Perimeter area, where it practices at the present time.
For many years, the firm exclusively practiced in the area of
litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense. The firm has expanded its litigation practice to include all types of civil litigation including
personal injury and business litigation. The firm developed a transactional law practice which includes business formation,
mergers and acquisitions, zoning, contract and commercial law, and commercial real estate. Seacrest, Karesh, Tate and Bicknese, LLP serves as private counsel for the State of Georgia, providing legal services to state agencies and employees on
medical malpractice, civil rights, and catastrophic injury claims.
The firm has grown in reputation and expertise to the extent that it has been awarded an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell signifying the highest level of legal ability and professional conduct.
